Hello everyone,
This is about what a race weekend (this weekend) looks like for me.
Friday: I finish school at 4:30 PM. After that, I do nothing else and focus on Sunday’s race. I also have homework and a test on Monday, which I will do on Saturday. Once I’m done with that, I’ll focus on the race again.
Sunday: This is the first race of the Winter Cup of DRS (Dutch Racing Series) in Lelystad.
Here’s how it looks: First, there are practice sessions, which go as follows:
KWM is my team, and they organize two practice sessions before the race.
After that, we immediately have the qualifying session, followed directly by the race.There are four races in total. The first qualifying session has three laps, but the rest are all one-lap sessions.
Then, there’s the awards ceremony, and after that, it’s over, and we head home.
And that’s what a race weekend looks like for me.
